5x6 and 5x10 Storage Units: What Fits

A 5x6 gives you about 30 square feet, roughly a hall closet. It's enough for boxes, holiday decorations, a bike or a few small pieces. Our 5x6 drive-up units are at 328 S Main St in Rocky Top for $36 a month.

A 5x10 gives you about 50 square feet, roughly what you'd get from a walk-in closet. It's a good option for boxes, seasonal clothes, a mattress set, and a few smaller pieces of furniture. Drive-up 5x10s are $60 a month at 366 Strawberry Ln in Caryville and at our Rocky Top location. Temperature-controlled 5x10s with indoor hallway access are $93 a month at 1796 Hwy 116 in Caryville.

10x10 Storage Unit: What Fits

A 10x10 gives you 100 square feet and holds about a one-bedroom apartment: a bed, couch, dresser, table and chairs, and boxes. It's a useful size when you're moving out of a one-bedroom apartment, clearing space at home, or putting furniture into storage during a move. Our 10x10 drive-up units are $110 a month at Strawberry Ln in Caryville and at S Main St in Rocky Top. For a climate-controlled option near that size, our 7.5x13 at Hwy 116 is $140.

10x15 Storage Unit: What Fits

A 10x15 provides 150 square feet and holds about a two-bedroom apartment or small house, with room for furniture from two bedrooms, appliances, and boxes. Consider this size if a 10x10 feels too tight. Our 10x15 drive-up units at Strawberry Lane rent for $120 a month. In Rocky Top, the closest size is a 10x14.5 for $115.

10x20 Storage Unit: What Fits

A 10x20 gives you 200 square feet and holds about a two- or three-bedroom house, including appliances like a washer, dryer and refrigerator. Our 10x20 drive-up units are $140 a month in both Caryville and Rocky Top. Rocky Top also has a 10x18.5 for $135.

10x25 and 8x25 Storage Units: What Fits

A 10x25 gives you 250 square feet and holds about the contents of a multi-bedroom house, including appliances and garage items. It also fits most cars, a small trailer, or a riding mower. Our 10x25 drive-up units at 366 Strawberry Ln rent for $171 a month.

The 8x25 is long and narrow, so it works well for a car, a small trailer, or long items like ladders and lumber. It's $140 a month at Strawberry Ln.

36x32 Garage

For bigger jobs, we have a 36x32 garage with a 12-foot ceiling at 366 Strawberry Ln for $400 a month. Call (865) 415-1290 to ask about it.

How to Pick the Right Size

  • Use the height: Our units have 9-foot ceilings. Stack boxes to use the vertical space.
  • Leave a walkway: Don't pack wall to wall. Leave room to reach items toward the back.
  • Think about access: If you'll be getting things out regularly, go a size up so you have room to move around.
  • Ask us: Tell us what you're storing, and we'll help you pick a size.
